Important: Not a Penetration Test

Vibe App Scanner is an automated security scanning tool, not a penetration test or comprehensive security audit. Our scans are designed to be non-invasive and safe, which means they may not detect all vulnerabilities. For complete security assurance, we recommend supplementing VAS scans with professional penetration testing services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vibe App Scanner ("VAS", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

VAS is an automated security scanning service that analyzes publicly accessible web applications for common security vulnerabilities. Our service:

  • •Scans only URLs you explicitly provide and authorize
  • •Uses non-destructive, read-only scanning techniques
  • •Does not attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
  • •Provides findings for informational purposes

3. Authorization Requirements

You must only scan applications you own or have explicit written authorization to test. By initiating a scan, you represent and warrant that:

  • •You own the target application, or
  • •You have written permission from the owner to perform security scans
  • •The scan does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • •The scan complies with the target application's terms of service

4. Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: VAS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that our scans will detect all security vulnerabilities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • •We are not liable for any security breaches, data loss, or damages resulting from vulnerabilities not detected by our scans.
  • •We are not liable for any damages arising from your use or inability to use our Service.
  • •We are not liable for any false positives or false negatives in our scan results.
  • •Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5. No Guarantee of Security

A clean scan report does not guarantee your application is secure. VAS scans for known vulnerability patterns but cannot detect all possible security issues. Factors that may cause vulnerabilities to go undetected include:

  • •Logic flaws specific to your application
  • •Vulnerabilities in authenticated areas (unless credentials are provided)
  • •Zero-day vulnerabilities or newly discovered attack vectors
  • •Server-side vulnerabilities not visible from external scanning
  • •Complex multi-step attack chains

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VAS and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • •Your unauthorized scanning of applications you do not own
  • •Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • •Your reliance on scan results as a complete security assessment

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • •Scan applications without proper authorization
  • •Use our Service to perform denial-of-service attacks
  • •Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse our Service
  • •Resell or redistribute scan results without permission
  • •Use our Service for any illegal purpose

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
